Breitling the number one luxury watch brand has recently celebrated 40th grand anniversary of the launch of its fantabulous first self winding chronograph. On this cherished moment, the company has released two limited edition versions of chronomatic watches. These are referred to as the QP and the 1461.The exquisite Breitling chromatic QP will be released in 125 pieces. The 1461 will be widely available in two thousand pieces. The 1461 has been named so due its’ amazing features, a chronograph and a calendar complication. The duo would require just one adjustment each leap year. This results in a memory of 1461 days.

The features of QP include a perpetual calendar. It is constructed of five hundred parts and exquisitely displays the day, data, month, moon phase and seasons. The overall look of both these versions has been inspired by the original chronomat that was released in the year 1961.

1969 was a remarkable year for both watch malling and aviation industries. This was the year when Breitling chronograph movement and the first flight of the Boeingf747 jumbo jet and supersonic concord also took place the same year.

This fantastic invention led to the launch of several unique collections of men’s watches. The aviation pilots’ Breitling caught the fancy of most watch lovers across the globe. The latest chrono matic QP and 1461 are no exception.
